A bit about Interlock

What is Interlock?

INTERLOCK! is a seven-year programme
funded by the Governments’ Neighbourhood
Renewal Unit to improve the service provision
for Northlands Park residents, by bringing

together residents and service providers.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a safe, clean, healthy and thriving place to live, where people want to stay and want to move to, where people aspire to the highest levels and achieve their full potential.
Working with service providers in the Year 2 plan and enabling the people who live in the Northlands Park Neighbourhood to play a leading role in working with all those who provide services in the community to address and meet local issues and secure agreed outcomes that will improve the quality of life for all.

Funding of a Health Drop-In for Young
People
Development of Northlands Park Youth

Funding of additional hours for police
officers to patrol the neighbourhood.
Environment improvements, including
improved lighting, security gating and
street signing.
Healthy eating sessions for children
and families
Children's Mentoring programme in
local primary schools to support
children.
Installation of a Skate park and Ball
Court—improving resources for young
people
Home Safety Checks for Older people
Rubbish Amnesty—removing
unwanted household items.

between residents and local service
providers.
